Q: How do I post an ad?
A: In order to post a classified ad you must first register to create your FREE profile. This will give you access to your own personal dashboard from which you can edit, suspend, relist or delete your ad(s) at any time. If you are already a registered user, you first need to login. Then, click on Post an Ad and follow the directions on the Submit Your Listing page.

Q: I have registered but I didn’t receive a password to log in to my profile, why?
A: Emails with username and password are automatically sent to the email address that was entered at the time of registration. If you don’t see the email in your regular email inbox, please check your Spam / junk folder. To prevent e-mails from yellowboar.com from being incorrectly treated as Spam or junk mail, please add support@yellowboar.com to your contacts or safe e-mail address list.

Q: How do I add photos to my ad?
A: To include photos to a new add just follow the instruction on the Submit Your Listing page. To add pictures to an existing ad: login to your account; go to My Dashboard and click on Edit Ad, then go to Add Image. After you have added new images click the Update Ad button. Please note that photos must not exceed 1024 KB in size.

Q. Why can’t I upload my photos?
A: 1. They are probably too big – OR2. You are using an iPad.

    1. There is size limit of 1024 KB (1MB) when uploading pictures to your listing. Reducing the size of your photos will minimize the necessary time to upload them. There are plenty of programs that you can use to downsize images. For tips on how to resize your photos please click here. However, if you cannot resize them, no problem, please post the ad without photos and then email them to us at support@yellowboar.com. We will gladly resize them and post them for you.
    2. Safari on iPad does not support file uploads. You can learn more about it, and find possible solutions, at this Apple Support Communities page. You can also place the ad from you iPad and upload your pictures at a later time from a different device/computer, or you can post the ad without photos and then email them to us at support@yellowboar.com. We will gladly post them for you.

Q: Can I edit / delete my ad(s)?
A: Yes, you can edit and/or delete your ad(s) from your Dashboard, under Options. To edit your ad(s), click on Edit Ad/pencil symbol. Make the desired changes in the Edit Your Ad form, and then click on Update Ad to save them. To delete an ad simply click on Delete Ad. Your listing will be permanently removed.

Q: Can I temporarily suspend my ad(s)?
A: Yes, you can suspend your ad(s) at any time from your Dashboard, under Options. Just click on Pause Ad/pause button and your ad will no longer appear in any search results. To reactivate your ad, simply click on Run Ad/play button.

Q: How long do ads last?
A: Each new ad is published for 90 days, and it can be extended for as long as you like provided that you renew it every 90 days. When your ad expires, you will receive an email reminding you that you can re-list your item. Items that are not renewed within 15 days from their expiration date are automatically, permanently deleted.

Q: How do I relist an expired ad?
A: To relist an expired ad go to your Dashboard and click on the Relist Ad link under Options. This will restore the ad to paused mode just in case you want to make some changes to it before you re-run it. To activate the ad click on Run Ad/play button.

Q: How do prospective buyers contact me through my ad?
A: Prospective buyers will be able to contact you through the email address in your profile by using the Contact Seller form. However, your email address is kept private and it is not publicly displayed in the Contact Seller form. You could include a phone number in your listing if you would like potential buyers to call you or text you. To prevent e-mails of potential buyers from being incorrectly treated as Spam or junk mail, please add support@yellowboar.com to your contacts or safe e-mail address list.

Q: What should I do when my vehicle or part has sold?
A: Go to My Dashboard and delete your ad by clicking Delete Ad under Options.

Q: Where is My Dashboard?
A: After logging in, you will be automatically directed to your dashboard. While logged in, you can go to your dashboard at any time by clicking My Dashboard in the upper right corner of the screen.

Q: I forgot my password, what do I do?
A: Click on Lost your password? in the Login page. Enter your username or your email address in the Password Recovery page and click Get New Password. A new password will be emailed to you. If you don’t see the email in your regular email inbox, please check your Spam / junk folder.

Q: I forgot my username, what do I do?
A: Go to the login page by clicking on Login in the upper right corner of the screen. Click on Lost your password? Enter your email address in the Password Recovery page and click Get New Password. Please note that when retrieving your username information you will be provided also with a new password. You can always change your new password in your profile.

Q. How can I change my password?
A: You can change your password in your profile. Log in and go to your profile by clicking on Edit Profile in the User Options box on the right side of the screen. Enter a new password. Click on Update Profile to save changes.

A: You can change your email address in your profile. Log in and go to your profile by clicking on Edit Profile in the User Options box on the right side of the screen. Enter a new email address. Click on Update Profile to save changes.

A: Log in and go to your profile by clicking on the Edit Profile link in the User Options box on the right side of the screen. Make the desired changes to your profile. Click on Update Profile to save changes.

Q: How can I personalize my profile?
A: Log in and go to your profile by clicking on the Edit Profile link in the User Options box on the right side of the screen. In your profile box, you may include information about yourself in the “About Me” field. You can also include your website, as well as your Twitter and/or Facebook username so that users may visit those pages.
